Several Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes were conducted during the year. On 7 April 2024, the TNOA PG Program: Gurukulam was held, followed by the Symposium on Molecular Genetics in Ophthalmology – 2024 on 25 April. A two-day CME programme, “AT TENSION 2024” on Surgical Refractory Glaucoma, was organised on 26 and 27 April. On 25 October 2024, a CME on Intravitreal Injections for Government Doctors took place. The year concluded with the CME on “Retina Reload – Surgical Fest 2025” held on 8 and 9 February 2025.

CME on “Diabetes and I” was conducted on 1 December 2024, followed by “Vision Rehabilitation: Current Perspectives” on 8 December 2024. The series concluded with “Ophthalmic Nel Eyecon 2025” held on 23 March 2025.

CME on “Neuro Ophthal & Retina Decoded for Ophthalmic Practice and Postgraduates” was held on 12 June 2024, followed by the “AIOS ARC PG Update” conducted from 28 to 30 June 2024.

A series of CMEs were organised throughout the year, beginning with “Gen Z: Revolutionizing Medical Education for the Future” on 21 April 2024, followed by “Uvea4ALL – Exploring Lapses in Uveitis Management” on 19 May. The SSTC on Scleral Fixation of Intraocular Lens was held on 16 June, and a Diagnostic Skill Transfer Course took place on 21 July. On 25 August, the Technology Skill Transfer Course was conducted, followed by the SSTC on MIGS on 15 September. The CME programme on Cornea – “Keraventure” was organised on 10 November, and “Exploring Orbitology – A Potpourri of Orbital Conditions” was held on 8 December. The series concluded with the “Glaucoma Conclave – Demystifying Secondary Glaucomas: Learn from the Masters” on 30 March 2025.

The CME series began with “Microbiology of Ocular Infections” on 2 June 2024, followed by “Retinal Imaging and Diagnostics” on 14 July. The “Diagnostic Skill Transfer Course – Western Region” was held on 29 September, and a CME on “Paediatric Ophthalmology” took place on 13 October. On 1 December, a CME on “Optometry (Basics to Advanced)” was conducted, concluding with a “Workshop on Cataract Surgery – SICS & Basics of Phaco for Postgraduates” on 21 December 2024.

The “Eye Innovation Hackathon 2024” was jointly organised by ACEi and IIT Tirupati on 23 and 24 August 2024. A programme on “Comprehensive Strategies in the Management of Glaucoma” was conducted on 28 July 2024.
